Cara du Plessis has experience in a variety of competition law matters ranging from prohibited practices to merger control. She has advised local and international clients in a number of different sectors including agriculture, banking, chemicals, consumer goods, property, retail and telecommunications. Her experience in competition law is not limited to South Africa and includes other African jurisdictions and regional regulators such as the COMESA Competition Commission. Cara's expertise also extends to international trade law, including unfair trade remedies and WTO law generally. She has experience in international trade law litigation, which includes litigating in the Supreme Court of Appeal.
