KISCH IP, comprehensive IP service specialists, has announced 5 internal promotions over the past few months. These include Zama Buthelezi, Robin Richardson and Natalia Androliakos being promoted to Associate; trade mark and copyright law specialist, Vicky Stilwell, being promoted to Director; and Vanessa Ferguson, Senior Director, being promoted to Head of Department: Trade Mark and Anti – Counterfeiting Departments.

International Legal Recruitment firm, GRM Search, has appointed Darius Zeederberg as its new Head of Legal Recruitment for Africa. Zeederberg, a practising attorney with labour relations specialist SEESA, has practised law in many provinces and is now looking to bring that expertise and experience to the legal recruitment sector. He joins GRM’s growing Cape Town office as part of an overhaul of its Africa operations.

Our last bit of news includes the surprise resignation of Jonathan Lang, Bowmans Partner and Head of Africa Strategy. Lang has been with the firm for over a decade and has played an integral role in implementing the firm’s Africa strategy as well as championing the development and roll-out of their rebrand last year.
