The multi-award-winning legal recruitment specialist has added two new recruitment partners to its global team.
GRM Search has announced the appointment of Angie van Vuuren and Franz Leipfinger as recruitment partners based in Cape Town and Munich, respectively. The new hires are set to bolster the legal recruitment firm’s recruitment partner practice and global footprint.
In her new role, renowned legal recruiter Van Vuuren will strengthen GRM’s senior legal recruitment practice – helping clients scale with impact and placing partners and senior legal professionals into both private practice and in-house roles across South Africa and selected regional markets. Van Vuuren earned a BA (Law) degree from the University of Johannesburg before commencing her articles with a commercial property firm. She gained international experience with a legal practice in Dubai before returning to South Africa and transitioning into recruitment.
An admitted German lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in the legal industry, Leipfinger joins the firm to help GRM’s clients and candidates secure a foothold in Europe, and facilitate German companies and professionals looking to enter the African market. Leipfinger studied law at the University of Passau and the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He also earned his LLM degree from the University of Cape Town.
This marks the first time GRM has established a presence in Germany. Adding to its existing London office, Munich-based Leipfinger is set to expand the firm’s reach in Europe and strengthen ties between the continent and Africa.
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Angie and Franz into the fold,” said Rob Green, CEO of the GRM Group. “Over the past two years, we have restructured our team to offer clients agile, data-driven recruitment solutions. Angie is one of South Africa’s foremost recruiters with very relatable experience in the legal industry. Franz is a natural networker with infectious energy and a real passion for the law. We are confident that our dynamic team now has the skills, experience, and support to cement GRM as South Africa’s top legal recruiter.”
The announcement bolsters GRM’s global footprint which now includes offices in Cape Town, Hong Kong, London, and Munich.
