Purpose of the role
Our client is seeking an admitted attorney with a specialisation in corporate and commercial law (additional experience in the mining industry will be advantageous).
About the Company
Well-established commercial legal firm based in Johannesburg North, focusing on corporate and commercial law, dispute resolution, mergers & acquisitions, mining & environmental law.
Main job functions
- Drafting various contracts, including sale agreements, shareholders agreements, memoranda of incorporations, trust deeds, off-take agreements, service level agreements and conducting due diligence investigations.
- Training and overseeing Candidate Attorneys.
- Ability to manage their matters and workload under the supervision of a Director.

- A commitment to high quality client service and producing an excellent work product.
Education
- LLB Degree (ideally in corporate and commercial law in the mining industry)
- Admission as attorney of the High Court of SA.
Remuneration
- Ballpark (39k pm 2nd year PQE – 53k pm 4th year PQE)
- Incentive Scheme (based on quarterly billings)
