Ryszard Lisinski

With over 12 years' experience, Ryszard Lisinski is recognised as a leading expert in business rescue, commercial litigation and arbitration. His expertise extends to all forms of contractual disputes, dispute resolution, ICT law and insurance law.

He has acted for a broad range of clients including multinational corporations, listed insurance companies, business rescue practitioners and creditors.

In addition, Ryszard has a keen interest in artificial intelligence and privacy law. In this regard, he regularly trains clients and their internal teams in relation to the Protection of Personal Information Act of 2013 and the General Data Protection Regulation of 2016.

Ryszard obtained his BA and LLB degrees at the University of the Witwatersrand where, in 2018, he also qualified with his Masters degree in ICT Law.

He holds the following additional qualifications:
- Advanced Short Course in Business Rescue Practice, University of South Africa (with distinction)
- Certificate in Maritime Law and Shipping Contracts, Lloyd’s Maritime Academy, 2020 (with distinction)
- Anti-bribery and Corruption Compliance Certificate, First Law International
