Kirsten Kern is a partner in the Johannesburg Corporate Department and a member of the Banking and Finance group and the Financial Services and Investment Management practice area. Kirsten obtained her LLB (cum laude) in 2001 from the Rand Afrikaans University (now the University of Johannesburg), and went on to read for an LLM in Banking and Stock Exchange Law (cum laude), which she completed in 2003. She commenced articles of clerkship with Bowman Gilfillan in January 2006 and has practised for the firm’s account since that date.
