Debbie Marriott is a Partner in the Trade Mark Litigation department and is admitted as a Solicitor in the UK in addition to being a South African Attorney. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Intellectual Property Law and sits on its ADR, Copyright and Education sub-committees. She specialises in brand enforcement across the continent, including trade mark oppositions, IP infringement, domain name objections and company name objections. She also regularly advises on advertising law. Debbie contributes to international publications, such as Getting the Deal Through: Trademarks. She was listed as a recommended lawyer in IP by The Legal 500 in its 2012 editorial for EMEA.
