Renand Pretorius is a partner at Eversheds Sutherland's corporate and commercial department. He specialises in international tax and M&A transactions and securities and financial services, and also has considerable experience in data protection and privacy laws.
Renand graduated with a BComm LLB Law and Commerce from the Stellenbosch University in 2013 and qualified as a attorney in South Africa in 2016. He is registered as a foreign lawyer in Mauritius.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, he worked as a senior consultant in the M&A department of Deloitte and Touche and was heavily involved in international tax and M&A transactions across African and European jurisdictions, resulting in a multi-jurisdictional arsenal of expertise.
